Latina/o Cultural Graduation Celebration

Saturday, May 14, 2016

6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Sports Science & Athletics Pavilion

Deadline to submit your paid RSVP is Wednesday, May 4, 2016

The University of La Verne’s Latina/o Cultural Graduation Celebration complements the main commencement in that it specifically acknowledges and celebrates Latina/o graduates and their families within a cultural context. Graduates will be honored with music, speakers, certificate of achievement and are adorned with a recuerdo or multicultural sash.

The University of La Verne’s Latina/o Cultural Graduation Celebration is for all University of La Verne spring 2016 graduates, including: traditional undergraduates, CAPA, graduate, professional and doctoral students.

• Cost for participation in the Latina/o Cultural Graduation Celebration is $30 (please note there is a small online processing fee of $2.64)
• Cost includes a magnificent sash & certificate of achievement
• Guest seating is on a first-come/first-served basis, doors will open at 5:00pm for guests
• Participants MUST wear their cap & gown at the Graduation Celebration*
• Participants will arrive for check-in at 5:00pm in the Campus Center, Ballroom A
• Reception to follow ceremony
